Mike is a Bishop Fox Alumnus who focused on on web application security assessment, mobile application testing, and secure code review. At Bishop Fox, Mike frequently tested and assessed mobile applications on both iOS and Android devices. He was responsible for authoring the Bishop Fox Android testing methodology, which is used by all consultants on pertinent engagements. He also conducted security assessments on web applications built with frameworks including .NET, Java, PHP, Ruby on Rails, and Node.js in addition to those hosted on Windows and Linux servers.
Prior to joining Bishop Fox, Mike served as a software quality engineer and information security engineer for multiple Fortune 500 companies. During this time, he gained significant experience with performing secure code review in several programming languages including Java, C#, and PHP. Additionally, he conducted penetration testing against internally developed web applications as well as automated web services testing.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University. He also holds a Master of Education from Arizona State University.
