Justin Greis is a Partner at McKinsey & Company based in Chicago. He is a leader in McKinsey’s Digital & Analytics and Risk & Resilience practices with a focus on cybersecurity, cloud, technology strategy, and digital transformation. Justin designs, builds, and activates secure and trusted digital transformations to help organizations accelerate their mission and protect their purpose.

Justin brings a wealth of experience across a wide variety of industries and, most recently, served as EY’s (Ernst & Young) Global and Americas Cybersecurity Transformation leader where he led the firm’s global practice and helped his clients assess, improve, and operate world-class cybersecurity programs. Prior to this role, Justin was a founding Partner in EY’s Digital practice where he focused on cloud-enabled digital transformations, scaling the group to become a recognized global leader. Justin was also a founding member of the Technology Transformation practice where he led a variety of client programs on technology strategy, data and analytics, enterprise architecture, cost optimization, regulatory compliance, and agile systems implementations.

Justin serves as Professor of Information Systems at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where he teaches IT Governance, Risk and Controls in the MSIS and MBA Programs. He has won numerous teaching awards for his real-world curriculum and innovative teaching methods. Strong believers in the power of education, Justin and his wife, Katharine, created a scholarship focused on providing higher education opportunities to students within the program in which Justin teaches. Justin is a frequent speaker at industry forums such as ISACA, Information Security Forum (ISF), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and various executive and board councils, and is a published thought leader on the topics of technology strategy, cybersecurity, IT risk management, and digital transformation.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Information Systems from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington and holds the following professional certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CDPSE, GIAC/GSEC, PMP, CIPP/US, ITIL, and TOGAF.
